Friends Bookstore

The Friends Bookstore is located on the main floor of Rochester Public Library, with entrances in both the lobby and inside the library next to the elevator. We specialize in quality used books at reasonable prices with proceeds benefiting the library. The bookstore is staffed entirely by volunteers who enjoy giving back to our community.

New items are added regularly, so there’s always something to discover.

Be sure to also browse the changing inventory we have on display just outside the bookstore, both in the lobby and in the library, and inside the glass display case on your right as you enter the library.

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and contactless mobile pay.

Donate Books & More

Have items to donate? We gladly accept new or gently used items in good condition, including books, CDs, DVDs, jigsaw puzzles, and board games.
